Watch this documentary if
you want a brief overview of the Icelandic music scene that runs the
gamut from electronica to hip hop with lots of traditional influences
in between. At least we will be enlightened that the scene is more
than just Sigur Ros and Bjork, which makes the film deserving of a
7.0/10.

Between continents
Developed its own identity
Unique, grounded in its
own history and landscape
That is the key ingredient
Whatever foreign influence
Is moulded and imbued
With the local colours and
sounds
The music might be crap to
some
But among them are also
gems
The music unadulterated
Not a put on, not a façade
But heart felt
That is the magic touch
Truly from within
