History unfolding before our eyes from the times before the Second World War until the modern era. This is the backdrop for the child who grew up trying to adjust to mainstream Italy and eventually making his mark on his own terms. I'll give this a 7.0/10
My impressions:
It was a small village
Remote, untouched
Seemed so different
In contrast to the big picture
The boy is the face of that village
Trying his best to be assimilated
Melding into the whole
He might be part of the whole
But still retaining
The independent streak
Maybe that is the reason
He joined a different party
With a different outlook
The champions for the underdogs
He brings up his family
Through many trials and tribulations
They have their moments
Some beautiful memories
Some painful ones too
