My impressions:

Thoughts and opinions of the cast and crew of the film is the subject of the documentary. Many topics and questions are asked. Some even shared folk tales they remembered. All these against the backdrop of the goings-on during filming of a feature on an activiist during the 1960s.

The documentary and feature film coincidentally was filmed during the same time as the campaign for the first directly elected president of Indonesia. There was much hope of a better future for the nation. As a few respondents mentioned, the journey to reach that goal might take longer than expected given the entrenched system of the past. It is still a work in progress.

My impressions:

Parents, children, grandchildren

The scheme of family life

How it is developed, and where will it end

The love and care in bringing up your children

Do we expect returns

Would we just be glad

And thankful

That they have managed

To stand on their own

They might not be the success

We envisaged

But we are proud of their achievements nevertheless

Of course we should not make comparisons

As that would be a never ending
